Literacy

Young children with speech sound disorders are at increased risk of difficulties developing phonological awareness skills that are foundational for reading (e.g., identifying rhyming words, syllable segmentation, syllable blending, etc.). We can support your child to develop and strengthen their pre-literacy skills in fun, engaging ways.
If your school-aged child has difficulty decoding words or comprehending what they have read, we use evidence-based methods and strategies to help improve these skills!
