Literacy

IMG_2091_edited.jpg

Beginning at birth and continuing through the preschool years, children learn skills that are foundational to their later literacy development (i.e., reading, writing). Preschool children with speech and language disorders are at increased risk of difficulty learning to read and write. For this reason, early intervention is critical, because if difficulties persist they can negatively impact a child’s literacy skills in later school years. We can support your toddler or child to develop and strengthen their pre-literacy skills in fun and engaging ways!

If your school-aged child has difficulty reading words accurately or comprehending what they have read,  we can teach strategies to help improve these skills!
